In March 2009 we met with Aivars Alksnis and his team in Riga.  Aivars then accompanied Dennis and me on our visit to Moldova and Transnistria.  On our return to Riga Janis Savickis introduced us to Vadim Kovalev and Edgars Virkavs of the Latvian Evangelical Alliance.  They had been approached by the Riga City Council about providing some kind of ministry such as healing rooms.  Paul & Eve Clift joined us in October to run a training seminar in the River church in Riga which was arranged by Vadim and Edgars.
